We spent 5 and a half hours to drive down to White House, Tennessee, almost at the center of total eclipse path. And spent 9 hours plus 30 minutes dinner stop to drive back to Oxford… Just for 2 minutes and 39 seconds of out of the world experience!
It’s a lot like an autocross event. a lot of waiting for a few minutes of fun. 🙂
Anyhow… It was amazing! Having “almost” covered sun is nothing close to “completely” covered sun… It was so worth stuck behind bumper to bumper traffic for hours…
