アメリカ、アマチュアレース事情 (1:イントロ) アメリカ、アマチュアレース事情 (2:オートクロス) アメリカ、アマチュアレース事情 (3:ラリークロス) アメリカ、アマチュアレース事情 (4:ロードラリー) アメリカ、アマチュアレース事情 (5:トラックデー、タイムトライアル、ロードレーシング) アメリカ、アマチュアレース事情 (6:ドラッグレース / ワールドスピードレコード) アメリカ、アマチュアレース事情 (7:コースワーキング) ラリークロス ３話目はSCCAのラリークロスについて。 一般的にラリークロスというとプロレースのダートとターマック混在コースを５−８台の車がレースするものが有名ですが、SCCAのラリークロスは若干違います。。。というか全然違います。。。一言でいいうなら、オフロード版のオートクロスです。オートクロスと同じで、誰でも（ほぼ）どんな車でも参加できるので、ダートレースをしてみたいけど敷居が高そうだなぁなどと思っている人には最適です。 レースはタイムトライアル方式で、”誰かの裏庭”にコーンでマークされたコースをできるだけ早く走り抜ける、といった感じです。大概３０秒から１分ほどのコースで、他のタイムトライアルと違い、その日1日のタイムの合計で勝負します。オフロードなので、車が一台走るたびに轍ができたりぬかるみができたりと、コース自体が刻々と変化するので、走りながらコースを読む必要が出てきます。ジャンプなどは特にないですが、それでも結構車は跳ねますし、アップダウンのあるコースだったりもするので、狙った通りのラインで走らせるのは結構至難の技です。…
